Unique Featured of Managed Services

1.)Challenge to please guest and client

For business, there are two aspects it needs to deal with. First one is guest, who is going to receive the service provided by the food company. Food industry needs to think how to satisfy customers want and need. 
Second,  client, which referred to the one offering the opportunity to the food business. Food industry need to think about how to attract the clients to let them  stationed in. 





2.)Guests are captive clientele

 Captive clientele means guests may not have alternate dining option. Sometimes, the location guests staying is far apart from city center, which is far away from restaurant.  For example, in Chinese University of HK, since it is located on hill, students need to have meal in canteen.

3.)Food service is not the primary business
In some situations, food service is not the main service. For example, flight service is the primary business in airline industry. Yet, it also provides food service to passengers.

4.)Produce food in large quantity 
Most managed services operations produce food in large-quantity batches for service and consumption in order to low the cost.

 

5.)Volume of business is consistent
The volume of business is more consistent and therefore easier to cater as it is easier to predict the number of meals and portion size.
