Challenges and Trends on HealthCare

  • Healthcare center always provide fruit juice, however, while 100% fruit juice has some benefits, it also contains a lot of sugar.
  • And even milk brings controversy surrounding the higher fat and flavored milks.
  •  Healthcare center also need to avoid that meals were overcooked and cold, with little variety and poor nutritional content.
 
 
 
Trends
 
  • Eliminating the deep fat fryer.
  • Deli station with lower-sodium meats
  • Salad bar including low-fat dairy products
  • Offer recipes that employees and patients’ families can take with them to continue the healthful eating at home
  • Create healthy vending criteria
  • Eliminate sugar-sweetened beverages from their facility offerings
  • Increase access to public drinking water
  • Remove trans-fats from menus
  • shift retail price structures to encourage healthy food selection
