2. Social welfare

when the government have higher revenue from the gaming entertainment then it can use to enchance the public service. Since the government have the ability to improve the social walfare, the pubic service such as the hospital, education and social security can be better developed. Also,
government can use it ability to donate money to some charitable or community organizations in order to  help the vulnerable groups like the elderly and orphan. Moverover, government somehow may return the favour back to sociality. For example , in 2008, the marco lanuched the "money sharing scheme" to offer 6000 to each of its' citizens.

 3. Better infrastructure

The construction of a new gaming venue (e.g, casino and theme park) create the physical assets and the social infrastructure. Especially when a new gaming entertainment venue is developing, it is no doubt that it is associated with some upgrades and advanced infrastructure such as roads, electrical and sewage. Increased infrastructure value will also enhance the citizens convenience and living quality.

 4. Reputation of the countries

when the countries has developed its' gaming tourists industry, it will attract more travelers which evenually will increase the country's reputation in the world. Also it encourage a positive competition with other countries so that it improves the service quality like practice makes perfect. (e.g. Macau has a good reputation in gambling in Asian)

 Negative social impact

1. Crime

First, gaming entertainment will attract many tourists from oversea and other countries, those tourists may commit to some crime like robbery, kidnapping . Also, gambling business increase the opportunity for illegal activity to occur  such as passing counterfeit money, money laundering, loan-sharking, cheating-at-play, race fixing, theft, fraud) .Moreover, there will lead to more cases related to alcohol-related crime such as assault, driving under the influence and fighting.

2. Family and health

Domestic violence is the main problem to family relationship because of gambling probelm. Nowadays, not only man are addicted to gambling but also the number of weman addicted to gambling has been increased. This situation may lead to many family problem since the family member spent all money and time on gambling. by lacking time to take care of children and no money to maintain a family. Then, evenually family may get divorce and children become orphen. Then, for health, addicted to gamble, people will spent all day and night on gambling with lack of sleep and health care. They may even have no money to see the doctor when they get sick since all money are spent on gambling

3. Suicide Risk

Rates of suicide are higher for people who gamble excessively, and for their family members. The people most likely to attempt suicide are those who also have mental health problems (like depression) or who heavily use alcohol or other drugs. People who have threatened suicide or hurt themselves in the past are also more at risk. Also, gamler may owe a huge debt which they can't pay back. With the high pressure, they feel like commit suicidal is the way is get away.

Positive economy impact

1. tourism

Gaming entertainment will be such good promption attivities and spots to attract tourists come in order to develop the tourism. A sucessful gaming entertainment  industry will help the countries to develop a well knowm reputation then the oversea tourists will wanna come to visit. For example, marco is well known as the  casinos and is known as the second Las Vegas. therefore, many tourists come here to have the experience.  The casinos make Macau a more famous place, without it, the city would not have as much tourists.

2. Create more jobs opportunity

First, the tourist industry will inrease the demand of labour for running the gaming entertainment. Also, the other ammodation and  infrastructure need extremely lots of labour to build and operate. Therefore, it will create lots of jobs opportunity in different positon which will increase the employment rate.

3. Government revenue

Governments earn revenue from gambling in different ways. The first way is through the taxation of gambling operations. In most countries these taxation rates tend to be much higher than exist for other industries. Governments earn gambling revenue is to become directly involved in the provision of gambling and directly receive its revenue. Also, it earns gambling revenue by taxation of gambling winnings by consumers, although this constitutes a very small revenue source.

4. Multiplying effect

Every time there is an injection of new demand into the circular flow there is likely to be a multiplier effect. Therefore, a dollar the people spend in casino will create a circular flow  which will generate multiple dollar.

Negative economy impact

1.  Economy is instable

If the economy and tax revenue rely on the tourism, the ability of self-controlled economy will be lower. The bad impact is the country’s economy is easily be fluctuated by the economy of the major visitors’ countries and even the global economy. It can't be independent from other countries.

 2. Bankruptcy

when people are addicted to gamling, the will spend all day and money on casino. Then they may not go for a job and can't earn money. Then it will bring bad influence to the economic development when people have no production to the industry. Also, while people have no jobs and spend all money on gambling, they will go bankruptcy eventually.

The yield management of hotels

The yield management of hotels is the technique allocates the right type of room to the right guest at the right price so as to maximize the profitability. It is the process of understanding, anticipating and influencing consumer behaviors by studying the past information.
1.   Price Discrimination
Hotels can use the price discrimination to enhance their profit by separate the customer into different groups based on their needs and price sensitivity. For the price sensitive customers who are only willing to pay in low price, the hotel can set some limitation for them for example they need to pay a higher percentage for advance booking. Also, they won’t have the deposit refund. And for some busy or popular period, they won’t have advance booking service which they are only allow booking in a certain period.

2. Overbooking
Overbooking means the reservations are more and exceed the company rooms capacity to serve the customers.
By the method, the hotel can ensure all rooms with full occupancy and capture as much profit as possible. Since with overbooking, hotel can choose the customer with higher consumption ability or good reservation record in order to maximum each room’s revenue.
However, overbooking have a risky drawback which is the hotel will lose some trust for the customer by breaking the promise they have made because they have to cancel those overbooking rooms. Also, the hotel will encounter a negative and bad word of mouth. But after considered all the drawback of overbooking, if the hotel still adopt this strategy which mean the benefit of it is more the drawback.

3.   Inventory control
Inventory control is for hotel is to decrease the discounted rooms in order to maximum the profit. Hotels need to keep more rooms for customers who are willing to pay for a higher rent to capture more revenue.
Customers always ask for discount while they book the hotels in advance. However, if the hotels hold all the rooms for reservation then they won’t have rooms to sale to the walk in customers at a higher price. Therefore, hotels should keep limited specified percentage of rooms for reservation guest not only to earn higher profit but also for it own guarantee because of the no show.
